MÄLARHÖJDSPARKEN

Mälarhöjdsparken is much, much more than a mere apartment block. Here, just south of Stockholm city centre, in a location with good communication links, Index has developed 500 new apartments. As a whole, they comprise an all-new and vibrant residential area on a site that was previously anonymous and neglected.

This positive transformation has enabled the apartments to be designed in a sensitive combination of form and function, where we have also added that little extra. There is also a spa inspired pool facility between the buildings with fully equipped BBQ and lounge area. A place where residents can socialise with family, friends and neighbours. The area adds character to Mälarhöjdsparken and contributes to a dynamic and vibrant environment that also enhances the quality of life of the people who live here.

There has been an immediate and positive response. Over 60 percent of the apartments were sold on the first day and another two buildings were completed within a year. We can probably safely boast that Mälarhöjdsparken is one of the most successful housing projects in south Stockholm.
